LEESA FOUNTAIN'S BIO
Hailing from Canada, The Bahamas and many places in between, Miss Fountain now lives between South Florida and South Bimini with her boyfriend Neal and dog Samson. With a background in boutique hotel marketing and sales, Leesa has had the pleasure of living and working on several of the Bahamian Out Islands. She loves calling The Bahamas home and hopes her art and storytelling will take you off the beaten path and into a new world (hopefully underwater) where the rum drinks are strong and the dolphins swim free.
Prior to going rogue, Leesa has had the pleasure of working with some of the world's finest -- from Boutique Hospitality Marketing & PR at Hope Town Harbour Lodge and Tiamo Resorts (The Bahamas’ only solar-powered, earth-kind luxury resort) to Co-Owner & Sandwich Artista at Bocadillo Clandestino (a unique mobile restaurant concept in South Beach).
Leesa received a B.Comm from McGill University in International Business and Italian Cultural Studies. When she’s not off trying to convince someone that lionfish makes the best fish dip, she enjoys running with her dog Samson, cooking for her family and friends, taking photographs and soaking up the sun with a copy of Fast Company. She is an avid traveler and has studied and tutored in Canada, Italy, Spain and the United States.
